3   The Parish Council were despondent at the inclusion of the A323 (Guildford to Aldershot) and the A324 (Pirbright Rd) as suggested routes for heavy vehicles.
3   The Council paid tribute to the "wonderful" job done by holders of recently established allotments in Westwood Lane.
5   The British Legion's farewel to the old soldiers of the 14-18 war.For last 20 years British Legion entertained the Old Contemptibles after Aldershot parade.This will be the last.
8 1-Aug-74 Normandy Scouts and Guildes and Puttenham Guides had a farewell campfire at Normandy Scout HQ, the German and Norweigian Guides who had been camping in the vicinity.
9   Photo of mr Fred Johnson of Szarbo Crescent.He has had two malicious attacks on his prize chrysanthemums.
10   Doris Baker,assistant leader of 2nd Normandy Brownie Pack has resigned.She was presented with a gift during Pack Holiday at Charmouth.
13   Mr & Mrs Richard Collard of Orchard Close celebrated their golden wedding
14   Great display at Normandy's big flower show,1974.List of prizes given.
17 3-Sep-74 Broken post at Normandy War Memorial difficult to replace.
22   NADS presents "Life with the Girls" John Wooldridge.It will be societys 110th production since formed in 1944.
27 3-Dec-74 Normandy' Parish Council's nominations for representatives on boards of school managers.List given.
